“When finishing the basement of my new home I decided against hiring a general contractor and found individual tradesman recommended to me by friends for each job. I wanted to cut cost but also be in more control and ensure I was getting quality work. Being an Indian man, I am always looking for a good deal! However, in my pursuit of cheaper options, I was left unsatisfied with some of the work that was done prior to working with GPC. Nearing the end of the project I was referred to GPC to do the flooring and stairs. I am normally not one to write reviews but my experience with GPC has warranted one. I was skeptical at first since the company is fairly new but I was thoroughly impressed with the work and the time it took. GPC went above and beyond to ensure I was happy and all my requests were fulfilled (and that’s not easy since I am quite demanding!). GPC is professional, straight forward, easy to deal with and competitively priced. As I mentioned before, GPC and their crew do excellent work in a timely manner and stand by it. Their workmanship and attention to detail is undeniable. My only regret is that I wasn’t introduced to GPC earlier. “We had GPC in our rental properties to perform various renovations. They did a complete reno in the bathroom which involved taking down the walls, insulating and then replacing the walls as well as doing tiling around the tub to the ceiling and replacing the plumbing fixtures. They also demolished the front steps and ensured the new ones were built to standard. They also performed the same job at our other rental property which involved taking them apart, pouring pilings (done by hand) as well as rebuilding them. They also built railings on both sets of stairs. They are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly . The estimates provided were accurate and was the price paid in the end.
